Every time we go to the pub we imagine the Zen Baboon: a hairy creature sitting quietly having a pint. If album decisions are becoming in any way serious, a quick glance at Zen for the imaginary wink gets us having a laugh and back to the creative enjoyment of making an exquisite compilation. As well as being our fictitious barfly, Zen Baboon is a musical duo from Portugal - Daniel is a sound engineer in a studio in Lisbon, and Henrique is a zoologist. For us La Maison Vert is reminiscent of that golden time of the early 2000 Chill out era. We adore it for that.
